post 1000! woo! now thats outta the way. still one of myfavorite last songs, no matter how obscure or unrecorded it is. it rips from start to finish. and joe transitioning from the first crazy ass part of his solo to the half time part when i think steve starts doing the reggae/skaish thing is awesome. perhaps this will be heard again some time. heres to another 1000 posts i suppose. and to you people for your posts cause you make it worth my time here-rufo-

we haven't finished recording it yet.

at 23 years and counting this will surely go down as longest recording session ever .. .

That's the problem with this board. We're all held accountable. I'd better check in with David when he returns. There's no reason for not mixing that session....

I have never heard this song and all this talk has got me curious. Anyone selling any DVD's containing this song? Is it on youtube?

I can burn a copy of the 2005 Echo show for you if ya want. I don't think Dan ever put up any footage on YouTube of the band performing "Make Believe", but a clip of it from a Whisky show used to be on the 'Video' part of this site.

Oh, do you want "Make Believe" on YouTube? I can do that, from the Whisky show in 1982. If its not up by the end of the day, remind me again by replying to this post...

Ah, you see that, starflyerx0 ? You prayed at the Altar Of Dan and he granted your request [-o< :notworthy:

(Btw - he'll expect a blood sacrifice before the next full moon. Just so you know...)

I tried uploading a high quality version of the "She Don't Know" video, but they refuse to allow the soundtrack, saying its copyrighted or licensed by others.

There must be some hidden electronic ID -- I took the song from the LA Explosion CD.

We played this a few times live - and we did record it in our Lyceum Street garage - so it DOES have that "Warfrat Tales" sound. Fortunately, Tom from back east videotaped the show and I have to admit that it seems like something else entirely took over in us when we performed that one at The Echo...
