HEY!

I'm Chicano too! No one told me to stay home today! :(

Ay caramba!!

Yesterday - had a good day. Was out of my office most of the day exhibiting my jewelry/stuff for an officially sanctioned women's program arts and crafts show. Although officially we weren't supposed to sell anything there, we were allowed to make arrangements to sell after the show. I made almost $100 outright and potential future sales look very good indeed! :D

Today we're supposed to take pictures of the staff and I didn't feel like dressing up, but I did wear a nice shirt anyway.

How was/is your day, Jason?

I was in Hermosa/Redondo yesterday & today. Helped my mom out with her new Mac (a gift from Joe & Lisa), bought some shirts at Rocket Records, ate breakfast this morning at the Hermosa IHOP (David and I used to eat there all the time in the early 80s). Nostalgia...

we bought new disneyland passes, and my girls are really excited. I'll also be getting a slighty used expensive *choke* car. Could I be more suburban and get another Volvo wagon?

I'm still alive, so it couldn't have been that bad.

Good day at work yesterday, and this morning I found my missing Decline of Western Civilization tape. I also found some mold during the search, but it came off with some bleach, so all is well.

I had a good night at work earlier tonight. Pretty easy night at this job too. I spent most of the time flirting with an extremely hot girl via the internerd. (hi Lina!)

other than that, my new car is kick ass, though I'm having to get used to shifting gears again, my new guitar is working out great. they're even sending me a part to fix the one minor problem it has, without me having to send it back.

also, I got a friend of mine a couple of godiva chocolate truffles the other day for minimal reason (she hurt her shoulder) so I enjoyed that, cause it made her smile. I went to visit my grandmother, and hauled off trees that were in her yard (I dragged them, because I'm strong now). and she didn't realize it until the next day, which was cool, cause she would have told me not to bother or something., because she didn't want for me to be working on my one day off.

had a shitty recording session thursday. I wasn't sure why, but later realized that nonsmoker+6x8 room+8 smokers=jason can't fucking breathe. I'm not too worried about it though. oh, and I've been writing a lot of music. some might even be listenable. we'll see.

Uh - Jason? That wasn't me. :?

Late last night I was listening to Oscar the Demon possessing this woman named Rachel on Coast to Coast. It kinda gave me the creeps.

But I would like to hear this listenable music of yours. When and where? :D

You are such a nice boy! Helping your grandma like that! :D

oh I was just kidding. I know it wasn't you. it was a different one.

yeah, my grandmother is very cool in some ways. she's about 83 and just got a computer, so she plays bingo and solitaire on it. the fact that she got a computer makes me think that the world really is coming to an end sooner rather than later.

Oh, I know you were joking. I was trying to inject a bit of humor into the proceedings.

Apparently, it was very little.

I went down to Joe's place. Lisa bought me pizza while Joe and I watched a 1920s film of a guy playing the piano. The guy had abnormally large, hairy hands and was pretty effeminate. You ever see "Mad Monster Party?" Yes, hands like that...

I told Joe they should play strange videos like that in between bands when they do their next gig or tour or whatever...

You went down to Joe's place and didn't swing by and say hello? :(

I am bereft!

But then again, I might not have been here anyway.

I'd like to thank my predecessor, John Paul II. On behalf of the conclave I hope we pass the audition.

"the wait is over baby, you're free to go."- dios malos.

man, this is great booze. the last three to four days have been a massive haze of booze, cigarettes, late nights, other peoples beds and all sorts of odd conflicting thoughts. so all in all its been ok. hahaha, booze.

not at all. I'm just really tired today. So, I'm not a lot of fun.

listenable music. I'll have to see how thursday's recordings turned out. otherwise, I think we're recording again in a couple of weeks.

edit: jason posts a lot of stuff that he shouldn't when he's drunk: hooked up with this girl, have a crush on her, bad idea, etc.

I'm sorta ok with that.... weird...

oh, or maybe we'll run away to puerto escondido, mexico. we discussed that too. so if i'm not around for a while...
